Some parts of my display image changes as I fold the hinge
I have the same problem. The service center refuses free repair. Please tell us how you achieved free replacement of the display?

The problem is Apple doesn’t have an extended warranty program for that defect.
But! Lets say you had both this and the backlight failure what do you think you could argue to get the display replaced which would in fact get both issues fixed? Are you getting the direction here??
Carefully review the iFixit vid The Design Flaw Behind MacBook Pro’s “Stage light” Effect! #Flexgate note where the failure is and how is became fatigued. IF that where the case here you could argue your case.

I tried to force the service center to accept the laptop for repair according to the flexgate program, but they nevertheless refused because this defect is not included in the flexgate program. Nevertheless, they are ready to take it in for repair when the lighting fails, which will eliminate both causes at once.

Apple has a repair program for 2016 macbook pro with Flexgate just schedule a repair with an apple repair center. Here is the link: https://www.apple.com/ca/support/13-inch...

Sadly, the repair program is just for the backlight cable not the video cables. But if the backlight issue showed up then he could claim that as the defect ;-}
Then Apple would be forced to give him a new display under this repair program!
