Phone with finicky charging after dropped in ocean

As said in the title, I dropped my phone in the ocean. It fell face first and I picked up a few moments afterwards. After letting it dry my home and power button were finicky and would only work at a certain time. Before that my phone would charge fine, but now it wont respond to charging at certain times. It seems like it is in fact charging, but it wont show the actual percentage on the screen, not until i turn it off and back on again will it show the actual percentage that my phone charged. Is there anything i can do or should I just try to get a new phone?
