Why can't I connect to drones wifi

I will ask the obvious questions here. Have you tried using another phone. Is it an iPhone or Android. ? . I presume there is a setup manual ? If you are sure you have set it up correctly on the phone and the drone unusual to have to setup the drone) and you have tried more than one phone then I would consider taking it back to where you bought it from and see if they will fix or replace .. Is it still under warranty. ?

The Holystone rep told me last night that the 720e isn’t compatable with Motorola or Lg phones! That’s justs Great since I just bought a new Motorola Stylus. I also have a Samsung Note 8 it says Holystone not in range and Authenification error occurred, The Holystone Wi-Fi quit recognising it. I’ve called them more times than I can remember. Now Holystone wants me to make a movie clip of how I’m connecting it after I’ve been flying it for 5 weeks. I wasted another 2 hours trying to make the movie clip and resisizing it for a E-mail and it wont send. I think they know nobody’s going to go to all the trouble.It was Great when it worked about 1 out out every 5 tries. Now no GPS on 3 diffrent phones! And they told me it can only be flown with beginer mode turned off and all the sliders up fully. They have some bugs to work out! I’ve built the big Hobbyking GPY quads before anybody knew what they where so I’m not a newbee!appreciate any info on the GPS. Thanks, Daniel Hughes mrddhughes@hotmail.com

Thanks for the information. Do drone require wifi to fly? I think that drones don’t require WiFi to fly or record videos. And it is perfect because you can be in a place where the internet doesn't work but you should make a video with a drone. However, if you want to enhance its functionality, such as sending ultra-frequency transmissions or sending the video in LIVE, you will need WiFi. Lastly, a WiFi connection is necessary to download and update the drone’s app, if you want to be on top of all changes.

The wifi is in the camera. Got the wifi to work by using an old android Track phone I had laying around( android version 7.1.1), because it didn't work on my newer android.
