I foolishly put a disc into the slot on my 2007 Macbook and it immediately got stuck. I haven’t done this for years but thought I’d give it a try. Bad idea. I don’t care if the disc stays in there forever, as long as it won’t harm my computer in any way. Any advice?

Reboot pressing on the mouse pad and it should eject.

Thanks. Tried that, and it didn't work. Will it hurt my computer to leave the disc in there?
Well it will slow it down. Why not just remove it? The optical drive is easy to open and remove the disk.
