The original screen has metal drop in clips. The new one has plastic slide in clips on the top of the screen. Where can I find a replacement one with the metal clips on top with the proximity sensor and stuff. Please put links

You have an iPhone 8 or 8 plus most likely if the phone’s back is made out of glass and the original screen had 3 metal clips at the top of the screen.
Don’t try to use the 7 or 7 plus screen on that phone if that is the case because it will damage the screen connectors.

Hi
It seems like you are getting the iphone 8 plus and 7 Plus LCD mixed up. Yes the screens will fit, but the frame is different, hence it wont fix when you reinstall.
1) Check the model on the back of the phone. Its in the fine print. Just type it in google/on ifixit and you will get the model you have
2) Iphone 8 plus lcd is with metal clips and 7 plus is with the plastic clips on the top. If the original LCD has metal clips, likely its an 8 Plus
