I was taking a bath and somehow dropped my phone because my hand gave out. (not sure if this important) there was a bath bomb in it too. I put it in rice for a couple hours then tried plugging it in and turning it on. Nothing happened, My phone wont turn on! can someone help me with what to do before it causes too much damage?

Thanks heaven it wasn’t plugged into mains or you wouldn’t be here asking about your phone anymore. Save the rice for dinner, there’s plenty of good recipes online to use it and recovering electronics isn’t one of them. Unless you have some not so basic tools and skills to take apart your phone to the bare component there’s nothing you can do except finding a skillfull repair shop..it they can take care of it fast it might be saved and may be economically advantageous too. Meantime keep it away from rice and resist the temptation to check if it works..it won’t in any case :)
