If your golf cart is an EZGO, there should be a serial number and manufacturer’s code on a stamped aluminium tag on the passenger's side of the cart in/under/near the glove box. The last two numbers in the manufacturers code are the year. E.g. G1796 would be for a 1996 model.

If your golf cart is a Club Cart, there should be a serial number and manufacturer’s code on a printed aluminium tag either beside the accelerator, or on the passenger's side of the cart in/under/near the glove box. The first letters are the model code, and the first two numbers after that are the year. Check out this handy website for serial number breakdown.

If your cart is an older model, I would recommend having a look at vintagegolfcartparts.com there’s heaps of manuals and other good info there which should help you identify parts.

I hope this helps :)
