Mac shut down for 2 weeks and now it doesn't work

how do I replace it? I'm a non-technical user. Today I tried turning it on again and the keyboard worked for 4 minutes, so I was able to enter the password, but then it stopped working again. This could be a signal telling me that I don't have to replace the keyboard. Maybe making it work a little, turning it on and off, things return to normal (it was off for 2 weeks). What do you think?

Give this a try when the systems keyboard and/or trackpad have stopped working. Place your system into a tight plastic bag and place it into your refrigerator for an hour. Take it out but wait before you take it out of the bag so the condensation does not form on the case or internal parts. Does the systems keyboard and trackpad working longer?

If thats the case then I think we've proved the battery is the root cause. If you can see if you can get the CoconutBattery app running as thats the real proof!

Do you remember your science classes in school? Heat expands and cold contracts most materials (except water).

Here we are trying to reduce the pressure within the battery as thats likely the issue. Placing your system into the refrigerator (not the freezer!) so the systems temp drops down below 40 F / 4.4 C is all we want here. That won't hurt your system.

The other direction is to just dive in and pull the battery and just use the MagSafe charger. Follow the same guide above blue URL link, Then press the power button for a good minute to drain the charge within the system. Once thats done you should be able to just plug in your MagSafe your system should just spontaneously startup and stay working.

I think the problem is from the battery, today I turned on my mac and the battery was at 34%, after two minutes it turned off, I tried to turn it back on and it told me to charge the mac (the usual screen that apper when th mac is low battery). What do you recommend? Before this happened the battery was in excellent condition, it lasted me all day (my mac have 6 year, but till now I have used it in a very careful way with a correct battery cycle). Is it possible that not using it for 2 weeks the battery is crazy?

No, although Apple recommends replacing the battery by 80% (I believe). I still think that you should use the battery as long as possible, as 5617mAh is still quite a lot, especially for a non-retina device.

I mean do you think I have to buy a USB trackpad and a USB mouse? so the problem is not from the battery and I don't waste money. Because I am sure that if I bring my pc to the apple store they will tell me to change the battery. Maybe I need only a new mouse and a new trackpad

Giueppe - I think you're on the wrong direction here.

The battery levels are OK, and shutting off wouldn't be a trackpad or mouse issue (internally or externally).

TheYootzMediaGroup is just throwing spaghetti at the wall to see if it sticks. Review some of his other answers.

What can happen is the battery blisters up pressing on the upper case stopping the trackpad from working as well as the keyboard. I would loosen the battery to see if that was the issue.
