iPhone 7 shows 85% battery health after battery replacement?

I have just had the battery on my iPhone 7 replaced. The battery health shows 85%, and the supplier is suggesting that this is normal and that I should just monitor my battery life to see if its ok.

I have done a full discharge/recharge cycle. I also hard reset it.

This doesn’t sound right. I have spoken to a few other iPhone repair shops. At least 4 say it should show 100% after battery replacement, 1 says that they typically see 95-97% battery health after replacement, and 1 says 80-90% after battery replacement is fine.

If more than 2 shops are saying that it should show 100% after battery replacement, is it reasonable for me to insist on either another battery replacement (where my battery health shows as 100%), or give me back my original battery (which showed 88% health) and a refund.

Appreciate the insight.

Thank you.

EDIT:

I used both Coconut Battery and 3uTools and these were the results:

My original battery health was 88% on the morning that the battery replacement was done.

If you have a Mac download Coconut battery or 3Utools if you have a PC, they’ll give you some insight on battery conditions and number of charging cycles. 85% is not normal at all for a new battery, anything below 95% points to faulty or used battery. It might as well be that the battery installed is not readable by the OS and what you see is the old battery data that has been replaced. However the two utilities I suggested above will be able to give you a clear answer.

Thanks, I updated original post with screenshots from Coconut and 3uTools

Doesn't seem right for a new battery charged over 700 times. I changed 1 on an iPhone 8 the old battery had only been charged 360 times and was at 50% health

It does make me think that maybe its reading data from the original battery? But I'm still mighty concerned. I feel that a new battery should be 100%, or close to it.

Should be at least 100 with 0 charges. That's how the new battery came for the 8 anyway

@adis_za Coconut and 3Utools give you the correct values for the battery installed on the device. It's been installed a used battery, that's quite clear :(

@tech_ni A 50% health with 360 charging cycles is not standard wear out. Of my 2 present iphones 1 shows 71% with 860 cycles, the other one 82 % with about 500 cycles, and I usually put in my phones the worst batteries I have around.

That's very strange indeed..Desay batteries are excellent quality. I'd be thinking the phone was fully drained for a longer period of time or something.
