Can I use the (used after upgrade) ram from my early 2011 MacBook Pro
When I finish upgrading my 2011 I will have the ram that originally came in it. Can I use it on my even older mac book?
Is that a good or bad idea?
Es esta una buena pregunta?

Using a 2011 RAM on a 2010 Macbook should be possible, they have the same size and need same voltages. Specifications though are different as the 2011 Pros use a faster memory. Macs are a bit picky with RAM sometimes, you’ll have a definitive answer only by trying. If you have three beeping sounds at startup or experience kernel panics you’ll have to put back the older one, but it’s worth a try.
You can get a clearer picture on RAM from here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201165...

@arbaman FYI: If you list a URL its nicer to add the document title. To do that place a opening bracket then the URL then a bar, the title then a closing bracket:
{ URL | Title ]
So your URL would look like this: MacBook Pro: How to remove or install memory
I would also place the source in the title or preface it in my comment, so it would end up looking like Apple T/N: MacBook Pro: How to remove or install memory
@danj Thanks for the info.
@arbaman LMBO great answer no matter what it looks like :-)
