So here's a weird problem. I've had my iphone inside of an otterbox for about a year now, not dropped or anything like that. Lately, it's been turning itself off. I then realized that when I press on the back of the phone, regardless of whether it's inside the otterbox or not, it turns off. What the dizzle?
By the way, I don't have to touch the screen to make this happen.

The only solution i could come up with for this one is maybe the ribbon cable #1 that controls the LCD screen is loose or becomes loose when you apply pressure. Try opening the Iphone and check that ribbon that controls the LCD screen and make sure it is in tact. Good luck!
