iPhone 6s display won't click in properly

I just replaced the screen on my iPhone 6s, wasn’t sure how you put the screen back on after finishing everything and it feels like it’s not in properly in some places? The screen also doesnt have a smooth taper to the body, making me feel I’ve not put it in correctly. The screen looks fine and the phone is functional other than that.

There is actually a simple reason here you could’ve bought the wrong type of phone screen or you might’ve broken a clip(s) that hold the screen in place so check the phone if there are any broken clips. If yes you may need to get those replaced if no than you could take a hair dryer and blow on the edges of the phone and try pushing in carefully since heating it will make the glue a little ore flexible good luck!

Would not replacing the adhesive (the one used for some protection against water) possibly be a reason for it? It's the correct display and fits fine, just doesnt seem to feel quite perfect due to the clicking. I'm also wondering if the housing is bent..

If the housing is bent that is a very crucial to why the screen may not e fitting in. If you have a bubble level than you can use it to see if the house is bent

Basically, its the ic (see the picture) on the flex cable of the screen. You need to make sure its on the right position because if its too high it will press metal plate that covers screen connectors on the motherboard. Before you put the metal plate cover that covers the flexes on the screen put it a little bit higher so the flexes stick to it and then slide it down so its in the right position. Good luck! f this does not work let me know! I will have more solutions. https://d3nevzfk7ii3be.cloudfront.net/ig...
