Multiple Screen replacement issues

My husband shattered is iPhone screen, and we had it replaced. After 4 days the touch screen stopped working. I went back into to have them fix it where they said there was a small crack directly above the home button. Since there was a crack they would not cover it. Well, I replaced it again. Everything has been fine for about 6 weeks. However, the touch screen started not working again, and I notice a small hairline crack in almost the same spot. At this point, besides being very frustrated, I want to assume that from the initial replacement there may be a very tiny, unnoticeable shard of glass inside the phone that is causing this continued crack. Is this possible? It’s just odd the cracks seem to be in the same spot, and tired of paying so much for them to fix it! Please help!

I have had the exact same issues, and it is because of the aftermarket screens they put on your phone. What happens is there is an IC attached to the screen flex cable, and when seated into the phone’s frame, it needs to be perfectly aligned between the top of the loud speaker and the bottom of the logic board inside the device. Usually aftermarket screens that do not have the proper dimensions are the screens that have this issue. Another way to check this is to lightly push on the middle of the screen while the phone is on and see where the “pressure waves” appear. If it appears at the bottom right of the phone screen, that is an IC fitting issue, but if it is around the home button, that could be something different. But overall, it seems that the issue has to do something with seating the screen properly. Do you have any “sponging” going on (press the bottom of the screen down lightly and watch the phone screen come back up a little bit imitating a sponge)?
