Home Button Ribbon Cable Not

I had to take apart my new 3DS Xl and when I reassembled it the home button wasn’t working. I’ve found that the connecter for the ribbon cable isn’t making proper contact with the cable. When I hold down the cable the home button works but as soon as I stop applying pressure it doesn’t work. I tried using tape to hold it down but it doesn’t work. Is there anyway to keep it connected? or to fix the connector?
