Attempted repair on lcd. Now isn't working at all.. Ideas as to cause?

The other day I attempted a repair with a kit from Yoxinta off of Amazon. I had been dealing with issues relating to the digitizer screen unresponsiveness so I decided to get me a kit and repair it myself after I cracked the surface glass screen.

With a cellphone repair tutorial from Go Cell Phone Repair it was going well. I drained my battery to 3% beforehand and made sure nothing ripped. I believe it was the flex cable of the battery I bent slightly when repairing that is causing my problem or the battery connector itself that came undone when I first got to it.

The phone was working before the repair initiated, but i’m not too entirely sure what the cause might be. I think it’s to do with the battery and I do want to see what y’all have to say or suggest before I spend another 20-30 on more repairs.

I appreciate any help you guys out there can provide!

The battery connector is pretty bendy, so unless you folder it, it shouldn’t be an issue. You might want to ensure the connection is good. What I like to do is take my thumb, and rock it gently in, then press moderately on it. You should hear a small snap. Don’t push too hard though. Also ensure all connections are properly being made, including the LCD, Speaker, and digitizer. Check for any obstructions in the port as well.

Well you can feel it click in, it's fairly hard to tell if you can hear it click in sometimes.

I recommend try plugging in the phone to a computer and see if iTunes detects it.

Also try shining a flashlight to the screen when trying to turning it on incase the phone might be showing image display but no backlight (dim screen). Backlight circuit can get damaged if a screen was connected or disconnected when the battery is still plugged in.
