What do you use the computer for? What programs do you run?

Install CoconutBattery and paste a snapshot on the main window with the USB-C charger plugged in and a second with it disconnected. Agregar imágenes a una pregunta existente so we can see wants happening.

Are you using the original Apple charger and the cable that came with it directly to your system? Or, are you using a hub or dock to then plug in the charger or using some other power source?

ANTHONY, I use the computer for pretty much everything. I use Bible softwares such as Logos, and Bibleworks, also use office, OneDrive,Boom3D , clean my Mac , Acronis, Adobe, Polarr and Kindle. Those are my main ones. Oh and zoom.

Can you post the second snapshot with the charger disconnected and answer the other questions.

Does it discharge even when turned off? If not, then try to factory reset your OS and test a longevity of working with battery power only. If that does happen faster than in tests of this MacBook from internet-reviewers than you’ve got something wrong with either battery or power relay (and repair techicians are an idiots, is they didn’t find a thing, probably). If time that MacBook lived on battery is close to those from reviews, then it was some software that used a lot of CPU or GPU time (probably).

It does not discharge when turned off

Thank you for quick response.

I have tried that, and. It will last about 2 hours. Last night it went from 100% to 50% in five minutes. I was using Zoom which is a video chat app.

After paying just over $3000 in 2017, and still paying it off as well as getting Apple Care,

I’m still asked to pay enormous amounts for a new battery. I get the feeling that it is not the battery though.
