Why does my screen have this rust color?
My gameboy has a rustish color in the background, just wondering if changing the screen would fix that

It is hard to tell for sure with just one angle, but it looks like a little bit of moisture damage. The LCD screen is going to have layers of polarizing films and such, and it looks like some liquid has seeped in between those layers. Replacing the screen should clear it up. You might also see about modifying the backlight while you are in there. LED’s will consume less battery power and will not have the yellow tint the originals had.
