Not charging, led turns on for half a second but also white screen
I am having a very similar problem with the one found here:
Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP Not Charging
among other places and it seems like a pretty common issue with 101 SPs. The problem is that I have replaced the battery with a charged battery that works on a different SP and I am getting a white screen when I power it on, with no sound indicating the game actually works (which would indicate an issue with just the screen).
Am I looking at more than one issues on the same console?
I opened the thing up and took some pictures of the F1, F2, charging port and some other places. I seem to notices something weird near R47, looks like corrosion of some kind? Is this fixable? Could this cause the issues I am seeing and not F1 or F2?
Can someone who has worked on the MB of an SP take a look and tell me if they see something weird? Are the F1 and F2 intact? Anything weird on the charging port?
