That’s definitely the GPU board. Failing GPUs tend to make pretty patterns like that.
Please confirm your iMac’s EMC number so we can find you the proper part.

The EMC is 2211
@tom084 the guide I included should work for your Mac, tell me if it's not remotely the same and I'll go searching for a different guide.
