Can't boost from SSD128

After a crash, can't boost with SSD purchased from you. After the boost chime, the screen is blank w/o the Apple logo.

If boosted from an external drive, can't see the SSD from Disk Utility or Startup Drive options.

Occasionally, SSD shows up, boosts well, and functions well. But the computer crashes after a while and SSD disappears again.

Bad connection? Need a new SSD?

Hook it up however you installed the system in the first place (external disk drive, hard drive or target mode. Run Disk Utilities and see if you can repair the drive. This could be the hard drive cable, connection, corrupted system, or failing drive.

To return a drive you'll need to contact iFixit directly. I'm just a volunteer who answers question. iFixit couldn't afford me ;-) So contact them here: http://www.ifixit.com/Info/contact

I got some time yesterday to replace the MacBook Air 128 GB SSD with the original HD. The MBA works well with the HD. This indicates that SSD is malfunctioning. Since the SSD was newly bought and is still under the warranty, can you ship me a replacement? The cable might be bad. Thanks!

P.S. Since the SSD does not get read, the Disk Utility cannot even see it, not to mention repairing it.
