Replaced water pump but red light displays when little water

I replaced a water pump on my condenser dryer because no water was being pushed though and red light telling me to empty the water.

Now the red light goes off when replaced but as soon as a drop of water enters the container the red light comes on. Red light seems to be tempremental. Checked the float and nothing catching. Any idea what could cause this?

Indesit idc75 is the model of my dryer
