Ir and Siri stop working after screen replacement

Hello,

I’ve replaced the screen of my iPhone SE, everything is working except for the IR sensor (when I make a call the screen stays on) and Siri (I can’t speak to Siri, it seems she hear a continuous noise).

I’ve used a screen bought on iFixit, is it possible I’ve connected some cable in the wrong ways, or anything else?.

Could you please help me?

Thanks,

Marco

Did the screen you ordered come with the front camera and sensor flex pre-installed? If so, it is possible that the flex was defective or damaged.

Start by verifying your connections to insure they are sitting properly in the connectors. Then take a closer look to see if there is any damage to the connectors or the flex cable. Finally, try transferring over you’re original Front Camera flex to see if that solves the problem.

Hi, I've ordered https://eustore.ifixit.com/en/Parts/iPho...

so it seems to be complete of all parts.

I'll try to reopen and check if everithing is connected well, do you know which of the thee connectors is the one for the Ir sensor?

Thanks

Use the original flex of the broken screen. Sometimes those circuits that send with the screen do not work. That flex can prove the two problems that it comments.

Reemplazo de Cámara frontal y cable de sensor frontal del iPhone SE.
