Why won't my drone turn on when not plugged in?

Are u charging with yhe drone tirned on? Make sure ypur drone power in in the “off" position before charging. I have A budget drone that i charged for 2 days and it still wouldnt finish the charge cycle. I finally figured out that my issue was tge on/off switch was broken and when i thought it “clicked” into the off position, it wasnt at all, the switch was there but tye connection under tye switch stayed under tge “on" side if the switch. So it never even tried to
