My phone stopped working. A third party that's partnered with Apple told me the logic board is only getting a trickle of power. Is it salvageable? I would really like to get the information of off the phone (mainly pictures). Can I use the three main chips on a different logic board? If so, can the replacement logic board be locked since I am replacing with my chips? I've also seen blank logic boards.

If data is important. Take it to someone that is professional at data recovery for iPhones.

I wouldn't do it myself without the tools and experience. The tools itself is easily going to cost over hundreds and transferring chips is no easy task.
