Hard Drive Replacement from Xbox to xbox
Probably been asked before, but I've been searching for three days and can't find an answer.
I have an Xbox one with a 500gb HDD, and another with a 1TB. The 1TB Xbox doesn't work as well as the 500GB one (and is cosmetically destroyed)
My question is, I know you can replace the HDD with another one (with some added formatting and OS install etc.) However, do you still have to go through the whole OS install and formatting etc. If you replace it with another pre-installed Xbox one HDD? I want to swap the two HDD's so the 1TB is in the good Xbox and the 500gb is in the other, but can't currently go through the entire process of formatting and doing the OS stuff.
Would it work if I just open them and swap the two drives? Or would I run into a problem with them not being compatible on a different console etc.?
As a side note, they are both up-to-date with current updates and everything.
Es esta una buena pregunta?
Awesome, I'll give it a try and see what happens. Wasn't sure since the Xbox isn't necessarily made to have a upgradeable hard drive if it would cause any problems.
