Can you change the iPhone 7 hombutton flex cable?
So my homebutton cable are cut in half... I know you cant change the homebutton but is it possible to change the flex cable only?

Hi SweCake,
Unfortunately, replacing the flex cable only disables your TouchID also.
EDIT: At this time, there is no user repairable option for a broken home button or home button cable.

Will the button work to tap on? Or will that not work eather?
EDIT: The home button ribbon is not user replaceable.
But a lot of people say that it is impossible to change to a new homebutton. So buying a complete homebutton with flex cable shouldnt work.
SweCake, you are correct. It looks like for the iPhone 7, none of the home button parts are repairable at this moment. It has to be repaired by an Apple certified location. Sorry about the confusion!
