Requiring to code when booting up

Hi,

I need some help with booting up with my MacBook Pro. My laptop has gotten the common problem of the DGPU not working anymore as a design defect. I've followed this video and forum on how to tell the laptop to only use the IGPU. I've done it and everything is fine. But when the laptop boots up I have to type the code again. It's not very annoying as my laptop doesn't shut down very often and the coding doesn't take anymore than a minute to type. But I'd just like to know if there's a possible way to make it so I don't have to type the code every time I have to boot up my laptop.

Note: I only followed the video as it was easier to follow than the forum post but the video was based off the forum post. I also followed a comment with the commands changed for High Sierra. The users name is "Sean Witzke". I also only did steps 1, 2, 3, 18, 19 and 20. As of my disk being locked like his was as well. I tried to make my disk unlocked by searching online. But when I did. I couldn't unlock my disk as it would say my disk is locked. So it was basically impossible when I tried. This is maybe due to the reason why I have to type the code every time I boot up as I couldn't complete steps 4 - 17.

I will do anything for this to be fixed. So even if it's really difficult in order for this to be a success. I will do it! So don't hesitate to leave a reply even if it's a difficult process to do.

Any replies would be highly appreciated!
