Can I use this phone on straight talk?

Hi, I use a Motorola Droid Trubo on Verizon and my parents are planning on changing to straight talk because Verizon is expensive. The problem is that I use the Mobile Hotspot or also known as tethering feature of the phone. I have heard that it is possible to use straight talk on the Droid Turbo but i want to know can I make the mobile hotspot work if i can get it to work on straight talk?
