Don't know what's going on but my PlayStation 3 is stuck on a screen that says please connect your PS remote and hit the PS button or something like that and it will not go off that screen even when I connect a remote and it just does nothing any ideas

Try to Pair with a Different Controller or USB Cable
Step 1: If the DS4 still will not pair, try another USB cable or try a different DS4 controller.
Step 2: Try another USB port on the console. If it works on a different port, the PS4™ may need to be repaired.
Step 3: Try to pair the controller to a different PS4™, or a computer with PlayStation™Now to ensure the console is not the issue
