I have a Kenwood DNX6190HD that will not power on. Please HELP!

I connect the power to the unit but when I push the power on button nothing happens. As it appears this is a very common problem with these units. I tried youtube to find a probable cause or if someone has encountered this problem before and hopefully can shed some light into solving it. On one of the suggested videos I saw ifixit provides help. I am not sure why or how I didnt know about your site. As if I was living under a rock for the last few years. Well, back to the issue. I know there is power going into the unit but the screen wont turn on. Please HELP!

Hi,

Have you checked ALL the connections, both power feeds ('accessory' power and permanent power,the earth, as well as the speakers? Also the fuse in the unit.
