Which direction to turn set screw?

Hi. I know this is probably an extremely dumb question but I'll ask anyway. I have a trackpad set screw that is stripped. I know the old adage "righty tighty lefty loosy" however with the set screw I'm a bit confused. With the unit turned upside down and the trackpad closest to me with the clutch cover in back which way do I turn the screw in order to remove it.

Again I know not a real intelligent question but an answer would be most appreciated.

he screw shouldnt be removed its a setting screw for adjusting the click of the trackpad is there a reason why you want to remove it ?

Sorry should have been more clear. The set screw s stripped which is why I want to remove it.

Yes I understand but there is no way to remove it from what I know without causing more damage its only supposed to move a few turns left and a few right.
