Preguntas 764 Ver todo

do hdmi splitters for two tvs cause lag/tearing/lower response, etc?

Ok so I have a 32 inch TV and a 24 inch Gaming Monitor with a higher refresh rate, repose time, etc.

I like having my PS4/ Xbox 1 and ALWAYS my PC in my gaming monitor but like to have my XB1 and PS4 in my 32 inch when friends come over and when watching youtube, etc for when I'm on my bed...

So I don't want to have unplug back and forth, so would a HDMI splitter fix these problems??

Specifically this one, especially because its so cheap and I'm unsure if it will be efferent.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1080p-HDMI-to-2...

Its says 1080p, which all a PS4, XB1 can do anyways, but I'm wondering if I do this, will there be input lag? And will it have my 1ms response time on my monitor? Or will it not work?

with experiences, I have used a splitter for 5in/1out. (5 devices to one tv, on 5 separate channels)

This caused issues with the display. I spent 120$ on this piece, and it still wasn't able to handle the process. I have stopped trusting the splitters personally.

however, I speak from a single bad experience. hypothetically, there should be no quality difference.

So the thing I linked, will it work for what I want? Like I plug in my PS4 as the input then the output goes into my TV and Monitor at the same time. Will that work efficiently? Will there be delay of any sort? Will 1 MS response time on my monitor stay? Same with my HZ? Which even that doesn't matter as long as its 60 HZ, because PS4 can only go to 60 FPS.

so your 1MS response time on your monitor will technically stay the same. the "Response time" only refers to the time in which it takes the monitor to process the signal. so it ALL depends on how fast your junction takes to send the signal. if the box itself is slower, than it will cause delays. its all based on the speed and frequency of the hardware.

yes. your TV and monitor will keep there specs.

can i guarentee that 15 dollar box has good filters and signal amplifiers inside of it? no. even not likely. i spent $120 on mine, and it still had issues.

Hmm. Well if its 12$... ill most try it out then! Thanks buddy.

With just having a splitter for 2 sometimes that really isn't the cause, it can be if you run wirelessly as opposed to being hardwired that can be the issue as well. Another problem can be your modem or router is out of date and need to be updated to handle the server input and output. From experience splitters haven't caused me no issue.
