My iPhone is completely dead and will not start up or charge up HELP!

My iphone 6 charged like always at night but when I woke up one morning it was completely dead. I tried to charge it while I was in school but still unsuccessfully. It does not even show the charging icon when it is dead. Tried here after cleaning the charger with a small plastic tube. I got it well cleaned but it still did not work.

I hope there's someone who knows what's wrong and can help me :)

Sorry for my bad english. I'm just a child who does not know how to get my iphone to work again :)

I have this same problem My iphone 6 is usually charging at night but I fell asleep with it and this morning it was completely dark and it didn't show the charging icon or the apple logo and I did try like 4 different chargers and still nothing.

Same here. Does the iPhone 6 generally tend to have that problem? I tried several different chargers, several different outlets, cleaning out the ports, everything. Nothing worked.

me to. i tried cleaning the port multiple times but the charging icon refuse to show my IPhone 7 has been on the charger for Months and ive tried resetting it and nothing has worked please help me i just got this phone for christmas please give me advice i do not wanna have to go to the repair shop because i want my parents to know that i am responsible enough for a phone please help me or they will never buy me anything. ever again and i wont have a Phone and it took so long to convince them...

Take it to the apple store, and they will check it for free.

They just lowered the battery replacement price $29.

I have gor the same problem. I exchanged usb dock port, battery and nothing. After measure battery is showed 4,28v after connect oryginal charger in the battery socket was 4,8v. Phone is still dead.

Sorry for the late response, but this answer may help other folks. Before going to the Apple Store with your iPhone 6, 7, or 8, try doing a Hard Reset. Press and hold the top Power button and Home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). This should restart your phone and clear any software problems. This is the first thing that the Apple techs will do. If this doesn’t work, then go to the Apple Store. Good luck

But what if your apple iphone6 is completely dead and when you put it on the charger it shows that its charging. but just wont turn on completely

Did not work for me, and none of my computers picked up any sort of device. Almost like plugging nothing in at all. Reset did not work.

Sounds like the battery or lighting connector assembly went bad. More than likely it was your battery. Try the apple store first. If it's the lighting connector assembly you can change yourself. Reemplazo conjunto conector Lightning iPhone 6 Here's the guide. It's not bad to change out, just follow the guide. Hope that helps.

Plug it in and hold the power and home button till the apple logo appear and use a wall Adapter not the USB port on your computer.
