My gaming computer was used to be high graphics

My gaming computer used to have amazing graphics than suddenly my graphics started lagging then I changed it to Medium graphics it was still lagging then low it stop lagging. Please help

Do you have your hdmi/vga whatever plugged into the graphics card output or integrated cpu graphics? There will be 2 sets of output ports on the back of your PC, the graphics card set is usually the lower one but it depends.

EDIT: Also check task manager to see if anything is going on in the background eating up system resources. It could be a windows update slowing you down.

You will need to just wait and let the update run at some point though.

It can go down hill over time as heat build up on the gpu. I would clean the cooling system and if that dosent help and the temperature dosen't go down then a operating system reinstall may be in order.

Is this the same game? If not, then you need to upgrade. Of course, suppose a PC is not taken care of properly and cleaned from time to time. In that case, large quantities of dust could cause the hardware to overheat and throttle, but if it's outdated, all you can do is upgrade. It is straightforward to do if you have general knowledge about how computers are built; if not, a Youtube tutorial should solve that for you. The trick is to buy a good motherboard that will allow you to upgrade in the future and make sure that the components are compatible.
