Cracked screen will not turn on. What can I do?

I dropped my zte iphone and the screen is cracked in a few places. Now it will not turn on. When I hit the power button it lights up for a minute and the bottom of the screen turns orange and gets very hot. How can I resolve this. I don't have money to get a new phone. and I use my phone for work too...
