2 No signal to monitors. But computer starts up
Hello. So, yesterday I played a game. And somehow the electricity stopped in my room for a few seconds. Then when everything came back on I powered on my computer and got no signal to my monitors. The computer starts up and all the fans are spinning (except for the graphics cards fans). I've tried taking out the GPU and putting it back in, no luck. Also tried disconnecting the power cord, no luck. Even took out the battery on the motherboard (my friend suggested it) But still no luck. I’m afraid that the GPU gave up. But how could that happen? From a power out.. So I turn here. Thanks for your time.

Does Your computer have embedded graphics? if so, try using it. does it work?

Can you check the power supply voltage from the PSU that feeds the graphics card?
It may be that there is no power being supplied to the card and that the problem is in the PSU and not the card.

Yeah that would probably make more sense. the fact that the fans are not spinning would indicated to that. But I have found that on a computer without embedded if you insert a GPU into it WITHOUT connecting the 6 pin connector to it, the graphics card itself will not output anything if you plug something into it but the motherboard video output ports will. Plus fans will not spin.

Bit confused by your comment.
First you say " on a computer without embedded" then in the same sentence you say " but the motherboard video output ports will".
Doesn't embedded imply motherboard video out?
Did you mean to say ''with embedded " and not "without embedded" perhaps? ;-)
