repaired screen with ifixit screen

Hey I have recently have repaired a couple of ipad screens with ifixit screens. I have been experiencing a weird problem ever since and since it is happening on all the ipads I was wondering if this is normal. The magnets on the tablets case seems to be extra touchy now. The magnets will turn the ipad off when the cover is behind the screen now instead of just shutting the case. Is anyone else experiencing this? Or am I doing something wrong?
