Why does iPod change tracks before finishing the current song?

I have not used an iPod in a while but if memory serves me correctly0 depending on the version it is using, you should have a fade option in your music or track settings- i suggest you start there- If that does not work and you just updated to a new version- you can call Apple.

Apple does not charge for outdated warranty work if the issue started after downloading a newer version- I dont know if this applies but you can try that.
