1 Both PS4 slim USB ports stopped working, it has any fix?
I bought a PS4 slim CUH 2115 a week ago. Suddenly USB ports stopped working, I thought if I do the Restore to Default Settings it would fix it then I did it. It didn't fix anything, worst, now I'm stuck in the "Connect controller with the USB cable an press the PS button" since USB ports are dead. Try anything but nothing worked. I think the problem is a defective USB IC chip but I don't know where can I find this replacement. Can anyone please help me?

It seems the higher the number goes the consoles get worst. I got a ps2, ps3 ,computer ,Atari "the original one from 1984 and a laptop. Not one bit of trouble. Ive had 3 different ps4 and it's been one big headache not to mention a money pit. This is the ironic part my wife is the one who plays it. No disc. No Netflix. Or app whatever that it runs. Nothing but fortnite battle royals. That's it. Plays only on weekends or if I go out of town. Been through 3 of them $%##s. So just look toward Asia and say "you got me". There wont be a 5 bought other than a 5 wood slicing the ps4 in the sand trap. Junk is a understatement for that garbage. But everybody knows what's wrong with it but it's the part that cost what a good used one (did I say good) scratch that another pandemic or it's a chip. Lol. "Its a miracle". Think I he better of with jock itch at least there would be results in a few days.

Usb has certain power on it ,common on fat where usb gl3520 is defective it's a usb chip that controls
On ur case probably southbridge ic Cox it's slim no switcher
I suggest plug anything that flashes or hives a light for u to see it usb is working

In the slim model there is no usb ic chip gl3520 , it's connected directly at your south bridge
