Hi @jsaldana2807 ,
You can charge the Viking Pro by connecting it from the micro USB port to either a mobile phone USB charger or the USB port of another laptop or PC.
(click on image to enlarge for better viewing).
It will take longer to charge this way as usually USB chargers (and PC USB ports) do not supply as much current as AC adapters

If the tablet doesn't charge when using the charge port or the micro USB port, (assuming your tablet is a Viking Pro 10 RCT6303W87DK), it may be that there is a problem with the tablet's charging circuit or the tablet's battery.
You can test your PC's USB port for power by inserting either a mobile phone or a USB mouse into the port and check whether the phone starts to charge or the mouse's laser light turns on

Seems to be Issue with This Tablet. Either the rechargeable batteries are cheep to begin with or the connections are. We've 3, purchased together 3 family members, @1.5 -2 yrs ago. 1 already quit holding charge @6 mo ago. Unuseable.
Not even a flicker While on charger! 2nd & 3rd are starting Noticeable similar issues. 3rd now must be ON charger to use, even if shows 100% charged! 2nd, holds full chrg@ 1 HR sometimes at other times @ 2-4 hrs same activity.
BTW; 2nd dev ONLY EVER used , by elder, to Read Books! No games, no surfing, nada. All I cn figure is now, once 100% charged- charger turns off till tab dead (if not used shouldn't lose charge). IF plugged in, not used say 2-3 days = dead. Must unplug, rechrge n USE before chrgr cuts juice? Or starts dischrg? I'm told box has safety on/off prevent'g overchrg'g?
Tried unplug when full, Still dies if unused for 2-3 dys. She 'plans' use and let's stay dead when not going to use for awhile. Soon all 3 expect = useless. SAD for RCA Brand.

@jsaldana2807 if your charging port has broken, then you can replace it. Use this video to at least get into your tablet. Remove all ribbon cables and remove the screws to remove the motherboard. Then desolder the old port and replace with a new one.

My charging ports are good, my charger is good, might you have any other ideas,? Please let me know.
I know im a bit late with this, but i just got this tablet from a friend that passed away and left it to me. I could not get it to charge at all. I used the USB(did not work), then i used the DC(did not work)..so i got the stupid idea to use both(the USB cable and the DC cable )…Now it has the power to charge.
I probably should not do this, but i was at a loss.
Hopefully this will help for the peeps in the future, if they wind up getting one from someone else.

i too have tried both,it just flashes a battery that's low but no charging

Tablet won't charge or switch on, when charger is plugged in the changing logo flashes on n off and not actually charging. I have tried other ways of charging it and pressing the volume button and on button but still not working.
