Device turns off when too much pressure on the back

Hey there,

I recieved a Galaxy S4 yesterday which did not want to turn on. So I took out all the screws, removed the middle frame and tested it again. It worked very well so I checked all cables and clips. When I attached the middle frame again, the device did not start/charge anymore. So I tested some things and found out that there is one piece of hardware on the mainboard which forces the device to power off if it is on. If it is pushed permanently, the device is not chargable anymore and never turns on. This is always the case when the middle frame is attached.

Here is a picture of the part: https://imgur.com/a/70xCQ

Since I have basically zero knowledge on this I hope to get answers on the fixabilty of this problem.

I thought about cutting the plastic of the middle frame above this hardware part. This would take the pressure off it. I'm sure this would work very well. But first of all I wanna hear some opinions regarding this.

Thanks in advance. :)
