Whenever I use the S-Pen the recent apps button at the bottom goes crazy

Hello fellow internet people

I seemed to have come across a minor (kinda not really?) issue.

Whenever I use my S-Pen my tablet thinks i keep viciously pressing the recent apps button and switching my apps when im note taking, doodling, going back and forth on my home screen. The pen works fine its just the button acting up.

Also i can't change the screen mode or access the blue light filter.

I should note that i purchased open box and didnt get any warranty since im a broke student and i didnt have that much in my account.

Please help!!
