Hi Grace,
Try cleaning the dust inside the charging port of your phone with a toothpick buffed with sandpaper or any other plastic tip (I do not recommend using metal objects). If it doesn't work try another charger or get the port replaced.Hope this helps!!!

Thanks Rohith! Its been with me only for a wk. I will probably have the port replaced. Just dont know where.
It shouldn't happen
you have to go inside and take out the 6 screws that hold it together, take out the 2 screws from that little black cover that you see and take out the board within by lifting it out. if the board is in good shape then you can push it into place and add hot glue to keep it there otherwise the part number is 20150404

I think you're thinking of the boombot rex the boombot pro does not have six screws on the outside of it it only has one on the ouside then you twist off the grill then there is 2 more tiny screws in it and that as far as I have gotten.
Do they sell the board individually?
I can get the 2 screws off the back under the clip, but the other screws are not screws at all. They look like rivets. So my micro USB port is pushed in and I cannot hook it up to charge it. There goes a lot of money down the drain. I maybe used it 10 times.

I have two boombots with same problem. Can I just mail them somewhere and you fix them.? I’d hate to buy a part and then find that’s not the problem.
