Thanks just wanted to confirm- I think it could have been squashed in my purse or I might be to Blame ... it's right wear my thumb sits when I walk around with my phone.

(Dumb). And possible death grip....

And bummer, so expensive!

I like to think I learned my lesson, put the phone down... but we all have seen it before. NOW I pay for it!!!

The other issue I am baffled by is I live City

I am in beautiful Vancouver British Columbia :)

There is only one shop who will work on it

There are many for iPhone and Samsung.. HTC Sony etc... even a shop who works on Motorola E , G and what ever... said no sorry we don't work on this model

I thought a screen would be basically the same basic idea....

Guess Motorola is my best bet

Maybe I should fix it and sell it and buy an iPhone

Lots of cute cases for them

Thanks again for your assistance.

Those are signs of physical damage. What you are seeing is hairline cracks on the LCD and instead not the outer glass layer.

Motorola will most likely say no warranty or not covered under warranty as that is caused by physical damage.

You will probably have to take it to a independent local third party repair shop to get the screen fixed.

If motorola offers same or near same price to fix the screen I'd go with them as they pretty much won't give you a screen where the glass pushes up due to not enough adhesive on screen.
