hi there i was wondering if you could tell me how to install my new click wheel i have taken everything out like the panel and battery im now left with the screen and click wheel but there is like a metal plate sort of thing and dont know what to do now could u help please asap x

- form looking on this tear down: Desmontaje del iPod Nano de 3.ª generación it seems to me that the metalplate is fixed on the clickwheel by adhesive tape.
In that case you'll have to take it apart carefully, and replace it with your new clickwheel the same way.
