How can I detach iMac27 stand?
Hi,
Can anyone tell me the size and name/type of the tool to be used for detaching the imac 27 stand? Thanks in advance

Here is a link to a video on removing the stand and replacing it with a wall mount. The video is for a 24" but the person doing it indicates its the same for the 27". Good luck.

Realize that you are looking at a very involved process. I couldn't find a pic of the 27" stand mounting, but you can check out page 3, step 20 of the 20" teardown to see that you more or less have to completely disassemble the computer to get the stand off. iMac Intel 20" EMC 2266 Teardown Lacking more information I may be wrong, hence why I'm putting this in the comments. Either way, good luck, and it's probably a bunch of torx screws.
