Hi, my phone's vibration motor is rusty around the 2 wires and vibrates continuously as soon as the phone is plugged. I am wondering if I could simply remove it? Does the phone work without the vibration motor, may I simply cut both wires?
The phone is a Oneplus X.

If there are only two wires connecting the motor an now PCB board on the motor, then it should work. Can you solder of the motor? That would be better in case there would be a problem you could then solder the motor back on, but it should be no problem. Hope I helped you.

Thanks, I removed the vibration motor and it works.
