I have a custom adapter from Monitors in Motion for attaching Late 2012 and up iMacs to their mounting arms. I would like to verify that the 2017 stand attachment is the same as previous models.

During the hardware presentation it was noted the new models have a user removable foot! In addition they are offering a VESA mount kit. Sounds like they are moving back to the 2011 style of foot (which was a better design).
As to your question if your adapter will work with the newer models you'll need to wait a bit longer to let the dust settle as I don't think anyone has verified whats different, if it is.
I would post a comment in the IFIXIT teardown when it's posted.
