As per title. My laptop will power on fine fan goes and all but no display will show until I force power off then power on again then it'll spring to life.

Hmmm... Sounds like malware to me. Use the below guide to check for viruses that can do anything from steal your passwords to the problem at hand.

Think it worked
I reset all the LCD Cables and CMOS Battery, BIOS Update and ran malware Scanners.
