Not charging, No iBoot, Yes DFU,

Hi, please help me, this is the situation:

iphone 6 - 64

- changed battery (no original)

- changed dock connector (no original)

when plugged AC

- boot in loop, show apple, then dark, then apple....

- if i press home button then show cable image for recovery but if

unplug cable screen became black

when plugged USB PC

- nothing happens

- if force DFU, it can enter, itunes ricognize it but stucks on "waiting iphone..."

and nothing happens

- Itunes errors is randomly 4005 often and 2005

What i have to do?

Please help me :(

I have exactly the same problem!

I have searched many forums not got any solution.

The main problem with my iPhone is that I can successfully put it into dfu mode (only when charging via wall charger) but as soon as I attach it to my laptop the phone doesn’t even boot up, and I’m unable to enter dfu mode as well. I have tried using iTunes, 3utools and nothing has helped me. And even if somehow I manage to get it in dfu mode without anything appearing on screen (with the suggested buttons ( press and hold power and then home and then leave the power button) and when I press flash the device automatically disconnects.

Someone please help me, i dont want a dead iPhone especially in these times.

A bootlooping device can be caused by many things. Give us more history by commenting on this answer.

Try these things (if you haven't already) to see if anything helps:

  • Try a hard reset (Home & Power button for 10 secs)
  • Use a genuine Apple Lightning connector
  • Use a genuine Apple charging brick and let it charge overnight
  • Try to connect it to different computers (mac/pc if possible) with an updated iTunes
  • Put the phone in recovery mode (search DFU Mode). Careful, this can reset your data
  • Use 3uTools for putting it in and out of Recovery Mode
  • Use 3uTools to flash the firmware (you can't downgrade)
  • Check the condition of all the flexes (with magnification)
  • Disconnect the Front Camera Ribbon from the logic board and reboot your phone
  • Disconnect the screen assembly completely and see if iTunes will recognize the phone.

Otherwise, you may have a logic board issue. If you are uncomfortable doing these steps, consider finding a repair shop to do the troubleshooting. A shop that also does micro-soldering can go deeper if the problem is not modular in nature.

@gigabit87898 yeah, that's a lingering fear I have too. Still, it's good to try and rule out as much stuff as possible.

I had the same issue with a 7 I used mac fonelab iOS recovery and it fixed it it’s for mac only or there’s reiiboot it’s for Windows but that fixed my issue.. this is prolly really late but for future reference both really great programs that have fixed many phones for my company that I thought were bricked logic board,baseband,battery issues and a whole lot more
